Dear all,
Please find below some general information on our upcoming wedding in France.
You will receive a wedding invitation but this is only sent 2 months before the wedding itself. We thought you may find this useful, especially if you need to arrange your holidays in advance!
Wedding date: Friday 24th of August 2007.
Location: Near the town of Rennes, in Britanny – west of France.
Map – Church and Reception
That day, program is as follow:

This should last for one hour.
This will happen in Manu’s home town of Cesson-Sévigné. This is a small town just next to Rennes (East side).
Apart from the mass at the church, (which may be followed by some photos), there will be no further events there…
We will then move to the reception place. Traditionally, this will be done altogether.
4.30pm / 5pm – Arrival at the Chateau d’Apigne (Reception area).
This will start with an outdoor cocktail, followed by dinner. During the dinner, there may be some small sketches…
Dinner may start around 7.30pm and last till 11pm… from the end of the dinner till 3am, there will be some dancing – not mandatory of course!!
Reception place closes at 3am – you will then to go by your own transport to your hotel.
Reception will be at the Chateau d’Apigne, in Le Rheu – another small town in the suburbs of Rennes.

They may be some small outdoor activities… basically this meant to be relaxing…
The location is slightly outside – 15 min drive west of Rennes.
La Closerie des Hortensias is in Breal-sous-Montfort
Local transports
During the wedding day and the day after, we will all go by car from place to place… You may choose to rent a car, in that case, it may be a good idea to share the rental… or if needed, we can try to allocate seats with other people.
For after-party transport, we can check for taxis if you wish to. This will need to be booked in advance.

Transports:
How to get to Rennes?
Rennes is 350 km west of Paris. Train is probably is the easiest and fastest way – depending on the number of passengers, it is likely to be the cheapest.
By car: This is about a 4h drive (motorway).
By train: 2h10 by TGV (Fast train) – You can access price and schedule on the SNCF (French national train operator) web site – http://www.voyages-sncf.com (English version available)
By plane:
Rennes has an airport with flights from Paris (both airports – Roissy CDG and ORLY).
But it’s also close from Dinard Airport (North of Rennes, 40 mins by car) where you can get cheap flights to London Stansted (with Ryanair – www.ryanair.com) and Nantes airport (South of Rennes, 1h15 by car), the main regional airport – low costs and regular airlines are available.
Accommodation:
We will provide a list of hotels and accommodations, close to the area.
